OverviewAlera Group seeks a Regional Operations Manager - Midwest Region to join their team.Alera Group is an independent, national insurance and financial services firm created in 2016 by merging 24 like-minded, high-performing, entrepreneurial firms. Our founding firms worked together to leverage powerful relationships, industry expertise, and resources to elevate the client experience.The Regional Operations Leader (ROL) works closely with leaders of business units, functional segments, national centers of excellence, and Alera shared services to promote integration and enhance operational efficiencies, improve client service delivery models while driving profitable growth. The ROL is a member of the regional and national operations leadership teams. The ROL reports to the Alera Group Chief Operating Officer with a dotted line to the Managing Director of the Mid-West region. The ROL will be supported through a team of direct and/or indirect reports that will be added in accordance with regional needs.Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MDs, Regional Directors and office leaders to develop strategies for the execution of National and Regional operations initiatives.
• Partner with the regional leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote integration and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve client service and drive profitable growth.
• Establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, and standards to foster and support our performance-based culture.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related disciplines such as finance, accounting, or human resource management.
  • Strong business and operationally oriented professional with experience in financial services or insurance carrier, brokerage or consulting firm.
